In this dialogue we learn how to say our name in Italian, so the question to ask someone’s name in an informal way is: COME TI CHIAMI? and the answer is: MI CHIAMO….

You might want to add your surname, which in Italian is COGNOME.

The question to ask someone’s age is: QUANTI ANNI HAI? which can be translated literally as “How many years do you have?” and the answer is HO (22) ANNI. So literally it would be like “I have 22 years”.

In this dialogue we also find the verb ESSERE, which corresponds to the VERB “to be”.
